#Springsteen Songs: Two Hearts

In 1980 trapte Springsteen dit nummer vaak af met de woorden: ‘you got to trust somebody sometime, two hearts are better than one’ wat volgt is een stevig rocknummer. Over opgroeien, vallen en opstaan en uiteindelijk diegene vinden waarmee je leven wil delen. Het mooie van dit nummer is de samenzang van Springsteen met Steve van Zandt tijdens de concerten. Dicht bij elkaar in een microfoon zingen dat het met zijn tweeën beter, mooier, makkerlijk gaat dan alleen.

Live wordt er vaak nog een stukje ‘It Takes Two’ bij gezongen, een nummer van Marvin Gaye. Later hadden Tina Turner en Rod Stewart met dit nummer nog een hit.
