#Springsteen Songs: Roll Of The Dice

‘Roll Of The Dice’ een Springsteen guilty pleasure van mij. Dit nummer stamt uit 1992 en verscheen op het iets wat ondergewaardeerde album ‘Human Touch’. E Street Bandlid Roy Bittan schreef de muziek voor dit nummer en gaf dit aan Springsteen die de tekst erbij bedacht. Het nummer is tijdens de tour in 1992 en 1993 veel gespeeld maar in latere jaren alleen tijdens concerten in o.a. Las Vegas en Atlantic City. De thematiek van het nummer past perfect in de setting van het casino. Het thema van het casino wordt als metafoor gebruikt voor het leven en alles wat daarbij komt kijken.
