#Springsteen Songs: Into The Fire

‘Into The Fire’ verscheen op het album ‘The Rising’ uit 2002. Dit nummer is geschreven na de aanslagen en het gaat over een brandweerman die in een van de 2 WTC torens de trap neemt om mensen te redden maar helaas overlijdt op het moment dat de torens instorten. Het was Springsteens bedoeling om dit nummer te zingen tijdens de marathon uitzending voor de slachtoffers van de aanslagen, maar hij kreeg het nummer niet op tijd af en zong daarvoor in de plaats My City Of Ruins.
