ThijsAfgelopen vrijdag 20 januari is Trump geïnaugureerd als president van de Verenigde Staten. Niet veel later plaatste Roger Waters onderstaande clip op zijn website en sociale media kanalen. Met als ondertitel ‘The resistance begins today’. Tegen het einde van de clip laat Waters veel citaten van Trump voor bij komen. Om als laatste af te sluiten met ‘Trump Eres Un Pendejo’. Zoek zelf maar op wat het betekend.
De reacties onder de video op de verschillende kanalen zijn ook erg leuk, mensen die zeggen dat Waters zich met zingen bezig moet houden in plaats van met politiek. Terwijl alles wat Waters in zijn Pink Floyd periode en later in zijn solo periode maakte, staat bol van de politiek. Dit jaar tourt Waters door Amerika en Canada waarbij dit nummer ongetwijfeld op de setlist zal staan.
